I've been trying to make a welcome message for a lot longer than it should take for an app i'm making.

I wanted to add a cool fade effect to it, but whenever I look at the browser preview, the welcome message fades away.

I looked into the Construct 2 guides and found out I need to change a "Activated on start" properties.. but it didn't tell me where

Can someone tell me where it is?

click on the object that has the fade on it. it will list it on the left side and you can change/remove/add effects and more there

you should try to make your way though the manual it helps teach you about how everything in c2 works
