Cannot find variable

I am attempting to make my timed score pause when I click space, though I cannot find the variable. Please help me out!

Are you looking a variable named "score" ?

It works to me, make sure to switch Event sheet in layout properties.

The variable is there but when I attempt to look for a variable when I try to make space stop the timer it says there are none.

I pressed space bar many times that resets the layout 1, it so there a text Score is increasing number per second. Global variables cannot reset until you should to do:

System: set "score to 0" when you press space bar.

Please explain what is exactly variable you cannot find
