Simple and easily editable template for a dynamic camera that zooms in and out based on how far apart the players are.
  • I just recently bought C2 and for the life of me I'm trying to figure out how to make the camera bigger (I've done the 2 basic tutorials, shooter and platform one) but none of them mentioned about the camera size.

    Thanks

  • Do you mean zoom in and zoom out? I'm not sure what you are refering about the camera.

  • Maybe he's talking about the window size:

Click on your project, looks at the Properties tab you'll see "Window Size", adjust the window size as you want.

Thanks but I don't see "Window Size" option, I see layout size but when I change that it makes the screen bigger but not the camera, the camera still remains same size.

By camera I'm talking about what the player sees, the player's screen.

Okay found it, thank you... exactly what I was looking for

  • cmr333: That's because you clicked on the layout, not the project. You must click on your project (above the layouts) to see the window size.

  • In addition to what hylists said about changing the window size at design time, you can use scale and scrolling among other techniques to manage the "camera."

One of the first places to look for an answer to a question is in kyatric's (How do I...) Frequently Asked Questions. In this case, look for the section on Scrolling/camera.

  • yeah thanks guys, I mentioned before that hylists helped me find the solution I was looking for.
