automatic walk

so what i need is:

on start on layout my character move automatic from a position to another(me unable to move)and then stop... and i begin playing

i have animation on the character

all i need to know is what events i need to use.. if someone could send me an example capx or a nice tutorial, i would apreciate it :D

is it straight that he needs to move?

there is smething like disable platform or just disable movement. Then do simulate movement right or left or what you want for a certain time or untill he is over a trigger (invisible little object). Then enable platform again.
