Alrighty so I'm pretty knew to the whole forum thing so i am sorry if this is the wrong place to be asking this..

I am in the process of making a 2/3 top down shooter but i want to make the shooting in sync with the arrow keys, Left key = shoot left so on and so forth, after trying many different ways i am unable to do so. Any help would be really appreciated thankyou

You did not have to set on left key press > shoot left side

keep your player every tick rotate towards mouse x & y

and then set any one key to shoot

or

You can use Construct 2 template TopDownShooter

start new project >> search "shooter"
