How do I get this arrays example to work right

I'm following a tutorial on arrays, but it's not working. My code is EXACTLY what is in the tutorial, but I'm getting weird numbers in my array(should just add 1 to current value, e.g. 1,11,21, and so on).

The poster clearly doesn't know how to use C2, but anyway. You've got event 3 as a sub-event of 2 (look at the indentation). You need event 3 to be a sub-event of event 1. It can be awkward to edit this, but drag event 3 just above event 2, then drag 2 above 3. That should sort out the indentation.

The "iterate through each score" is totally wrong. That is the name of your index, not a random comment.

I meant the poster of the tutorial, not you. There, I made a mistake in wording. The point of the tutorial is to show how to use a for loop, but it's wrong. That's not how you would do a for loop in C2. You would leave the name blank and use 'loopindex' as the index, avoiding 'i' completely. Or name the index 'i' and use loopindex("i") as the index.

I made it more abstract(can do with an array of any width) and I debugged and got the same results.

Get rid of "iterate thru each score". Just use "". You want ScoresArray.Width-1, otherwise you are checking off the end of the array. An array of Width=10, only has indices 0 to 9. Right now you would be accessing 0 to 10 (11 elements).

And delete local variable 'i'.
