Is there an alert dialog box like alert() JS function??

There is a dialog plugin in the plugin section of this forum, but I'm not sure if that is what you are looking for.

I'm not sure when or why you'd want this dialog to appear, but you could ofcourse just create the whole thing from scratch yourself, call it throughy events and make it look anyway you want.

The alert function is already available, no extra plugin needed, it's an action of the Browser plugin. The interest of using the default alert over a custom message box is that it freezes the browser when displayed, in some cases it can be useful (like if you want to force the user to refresh the game because an update is available)
