How do I 360' view in layout

how do that kind of layout like in this example

I don't know if it can be useful but why you don't do some thing like a tube not like an sphere i mean a photo than you can move in 360 in row (not in vertical... well you can add a sky, but it will be so much evident).... i say that because i think that is most easy to do....

an enormous panoramic image and you move it in x axis and when you are at the border you start again
