Run HTML5 Games directly in Browsers

Please do NOT answer with use NW.JS or upload the game.

Okay, i need to make my game running on local computer in chromium browser.

I took a quick look into the javascript files from the exported games folder but i have not found more info on how to actually ENABLE that feature that blocks the game from running.

Also id like to know if it was a decision by scirra to disable the games from running locally on browsers or did they just had to deal with this problem and inserted a messagebox to inform users

Run the standard Microsoft Edge browser (44.18362.449.0 / Microsoft EdgeHtml5 18.18368)

built into Windows 10, Firefox 66.03 also works.

It's a fundamental restriction of browsers. What are you trying to do? Why can't you use NW.js? That is the best answer.

I think you are looking for something like WAMP or XAMPP? To run your game like actual web rather than loading index.html into browser?
