Request: Clear Keyboard Buffer

Hi,

i wonder if its possible to add an option to clear the keyboard buffer. It would make it easier to detect a single keypress, mainly in my case where i allow the player to set their own keys.

At the moment the buffer always holds the last key press. It would be great to clear that manually.
