Okay I've got to ask, if I got a Standard edition. Am I allowed to release a game? If I am do I have to do anything special like saying that it was created in construct 2 made by scirra?

You can earn up to �5000 before needing to upgrade the license.

Regarding the Made using Scirra thing - it's entirely up to you, but considering they have made this tool for you, it doesn't hurt to mention them in the credits at least.
