How do I redeem my construct 2 license

I just bought Construct 2 Personal, and I dowloaded the bundle and extracted it, but when I open up the License file called "license.txt."

An error message shows up saying,

A license file for Construct 2 was found, but there was an error

loading it. Construct 2 has reverted to Free edition.

This can occur if the file is damaged, corrupted or otherwise modified

in any way. If you have a backup of your license file, try restoring

it. Otherwise, please contact and we'll try to

sort you out as quickly as we can.

I'm using the latest release of Construct 2 and I didn't make any changes in my license file.

I'm using the latest release of Construct 2 and I didn't make any changes in my license file.

Your license file is called "c2license.txt" rather than "license.txt" so you are selecting the wrong file.

Try re-downloading the license from the https://www.scirra.com/store/downloads section of the store.
