This Student Workbook uses both Construct 3 & 2 encoding. It supplies client-side & php "back-end" encoding.
  • Hi,

i want to know how is the easy way to play audio (MP3) from remote server (URL).

I realize that we can play audio from imported files, however i really need to play some remote files because im trying to build a kind of Audio Player.

Right now my only option is develop a plugin, but i prefer ask before.

PD: i know about this post construct.net/en but must be a way to do it

PD2: why i cant import files? because app (PhoneGap) size is important for this project.

    Thanks!

  • It's not supported since the dual-encoding problem means you can't just load one audio file and expect it to play.

BTW you shouldn't ever use MP3 for anything, ever - if 5000 people play a game using MP3, you're liable for a $2500 license fee.

  • Ok Ashley, thanks for the tip. And i understand you.

But, we know that one of the best feature of HTML (web in general) is be able to use remote resources (audio, video, images) for avoid redundancy (and overload) and would be nice be able do that.

    Thanks anyway.

PD: I really like Cosntruct 2, i think it has potential to make more than just games.
