Stable is currently at 0.14.3, beta at 0.15.
The scirra package is still stuck at 0.14.0, so you guys might update it, when you get the chance
They now follow Chrome releases very closely and they end up doing releases every few days sometimes. This creates quite a lot of work to keep up, and generally the only update is some security patches made to the Chrome stable channel, which isn't really relevant to games. So I was intending to just update whenever a new Chrome stable version was out, e.g. 49 -> 50.
Focus on a stable that plain works. Smooth frame times, no bugs, and get Greenworks compatible.
I'm perfectly happy to be "stuck" on one version for a long time as long as it's good.
I agree with Silverforce
I agree stability is the most import thing since NW always has to do with deployment.
Although i'm very happy NW gets updated very often, i agree with Silver that it's better to be "stuck" to a stable version and update only when a major version comes out, it's better both for time purposes and continuity.
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
Right now it's neither stable, nor deployment-ready, and greenworks is busted. So.... those arguments would be valid, if 0.14.0 was any of this, which it.. isn't
I'm also agree with —
Better stick with the current version we have until a new stable release of Google Chrome released.
