Layer Problems in the Editor

Hi

I am having a problem with layers in the editor which i cant always replicate.

Lets say i have 3 layers on one layout, if i duplicate that layout and add another layer to the duplicate, sometimes the new layer doesnt line up with the rest. It is stuck to the top left of the editor.

Everything works ok on export but it makes it very difficult to edit , especially if i use that layer as a non transparent layer with sprites set with Destination Out, to emulate lighting.

When i use the scroll bars the first 3 layers all move together as you would expect but the new layer just stays stuck.

Any suggestions welcome.

I imagine restarting C2 would fix it, but as something less drastic have you tried closing that layout tab and then re-opening it?

Yes i have. Re-starting C2 makes no difference either. I have also found it seems to occur if there is another blank layer.

Its such a strange problem i would have to make a screen cap video of how it happens

Are your graphics card drivers up to date?

yes bang up to date.

I will try to create a capx which will generate the problem every time and post it as a bug. Its surprising that no one else has come across this.

I had this problem when a layer appear below another one that is not transparent, not sure It is related though
