This is still such a niche technology, I would have thought it was a waste of time trying to support it until it has made much greater inroads into public consumers.

Also, from this report (http://www.technobuffalo.com/2014/11/21/google-glass-basecamps-quietly-closed-down/) and others of late, it seems like the public interest in Glass is not exactly positive.

It may just need time to overcome the negative public perception, but trying to support it at the moment would not be a useful use of a single developer's time IMO.

Its a classical chicken and egg situation. If there are interesting and useful applications then it increases the odds of success.

But, i guess the effort to write a wrapper for the google glass environment and pugins to take advantage of its API/special features, is quite an effort.
