I've noticed zero downloads via the dev console over the last two days. I know sometimes it is slow to update but this seems weird. Could it be because of the SSL warning?

No its because of Christmas it should be back to normal in the next couple days

A few days only.

Apple locks out their dev console for a week, so you can't even see any details.

Seems to be catching up. 2 updates today, firstly to the 6th and then later to the 7th only a couple days behind now..
