Function object vs Function plugin

I'll test it all out later, but I am hoping the new object doesn't break the plugin...

Could do with someone explaining how the new plugin works. I know about functions, I just mean in the context of Construct.

1) Add a Function object to your project.

2) In your event sheet, add this event to create your function:

    Function: On "MyFunc"

    - Add your action/s (get parameter values with: Function.Param(n))

    Add a function call event e.g. System On start of layout

    - Add this action: Function: Call "MyFunc", with parameters as/if required
