Football Match Engine

Could you all tell me if i have come to the right place & if it is possible.

I looking to create a 2D football match engine for the web.

Or even could anyone tell me where i can start something like this.

Or someone i could speak 2 or what tutorials would be good to start out with in football 2d , someone to know more about it and understand it has i rather 1 on 1. please

Is there any tutorials on AI computer bots , has im wanting to make the players pass and move the ball to each other.
