Diffrence between Steam and standalone versions

Hi I am looking at purchasing this I wanted to know if there are any differences between the Steam version and the standalone (for want of a better word)

I don't believe that there are, but I'm not sure. I doubt that there would be differences.

There is not, but some users have trouble with the steam version it seems, try to search for that

There is no difference, other than the Steam version like all other products from Steam is tied to your Steam account and cannot run unless Steam is also running. On the other hand the standalone version can be used portably.

Other than portability, the standalone version you can have multiple licensed instances open. On the steam version, you can only have 1 licensed version

Although once in-editor display of separate projects is improved that won't matter. (Although IMO I rate tilemap object above that in prioirty)
