Casino? money? who knows? but the target is the same!
  • Okay, so I could be completely wrong about everything I'm about to say, but here goes:

Firstly, is there any way you could port it to Android?

Reason, I don't want to use Windows anymore, I'd like to install Android and use it for game designing. Construct 3 on Android for my desktop... Would make my life so much better.

Secondly, what would it take for this to be done?

For some reason I get a idea that you're basically redesigning Construct 2 in Node Webkit... I'm unsure as to why I believe this, but based on things you've said I've just kind of begun to think that (or else I may have read it).

This would mean that it'd be supportABLE on Android, right? Because the mobile/tablet/(PC for weirdos like me) market could really do for a nice mobile game designing program. And I would literally love you guys for life. I'd even be willing to pay you a significant amount to make this possible. XD Anyways, Ashley, Tom, these kinds of questions are of course meant for you guys.

Welp, thanks for the reply, but I've already read it, so I guess I'll just wait.

Sorry for wasting your time, I was just really curious of your direction with C3. Guess I have to be patient... Typically not good at it, but I'll try.

  • , I've also has the suspicion that NW will be the new editor framework. It works for Intel XDK (I think).... What's glaringly missing from that 8 month old blog are things like animation preview in the layout window (including particles) and full box2d access. As c3 appears to be just an editor update, permitting people who can code to add extensions to the editor etc, I'm concerned that we'll still be waiting for hardware to catch up before html5 will be a better prospect outside of web browsers. It'll have to offer something really juicy to entice people to update. No news is no news!

Hardware really doesn't seem like too much of a limitation to me considering UE4 is the only competing engine for me, personally, and I can't run it on my computer. xD

Aside from that though, if Scirra does take the suggestions handed from the users that have made a list for them, the simple editor update should be reason enough to be excited. Not much Scirra can do about the support of HTML5, but the performance of HTML5 is awesome for PC, which is my favorite system to play games on, so I have no complaints of performance either way. xD
