construct 2 not updating with licence

For a while now I have had Construct 2 release 163 and would like to update it to release 244. I download it as normal it installs and opens its when I try to run it with the Personal licence and it reverts back to 163. please help

Did you purchase you're license from this site or via Steam?

Have you tried re-downloading your license from the store?

Have you placed the license in the correct location? (see HERE)

If you still have issues then Email and they will deal with your problem.
