Can't add input object...

I decided that i would like add touch to a game i finished a few months back, I click to add a new object, and there are no input objects, there is not even an input section. When i go in the event sheet and in the objects panel the mouse and keyboard are there, which is good.

I'm sure this is something simple, It is driving me crazy, any help is much appreciated.
