> You can't use any TEXT object, or you'll get a black screen.
You mean you had to display all text as a sprite/graphics to have it work?
Once I manage to have a working version of my game on iOS, the PlayBook was next on my list so I think your experiences with the different appstores are very valuable to this community. When you talk about an "appstore bubble" you mean a specific appstore in particular or in general, ie. people are getting tired of searching new things among the countless crappy apps around regardless of platform?
All best!
Yes, actually I am trying to remake my text with sprites.
(Spritefont is an excellent plugin but it isn't acceptable by CocoonJS so far.)
1.In some information I got, they said BB users (13% originally )are going to iOS and Android. RIM always insist their costumers are high class and rich ones. I don't know why a rich person have to buy a Playbook but the most expensive iPad3 64GB.
2.Android, in my country, developers can't get paid from googleplay except iap/iad. And we know only 1.3% Android users pay for apps (while iOS is 13.5%).
3.iOS, if you have watched the recent news about iOS6, apple canceled the page for new apps on Appstore. It almost kills indies who are lack of resources on marketing.
4.It almost 800+ apps/day published on iOS appstore now. Users can always find better and free games there. When everything forced to be free there (like android), only big companies with large end users can survive.
I know I am not the happiest optimist.
