  • Hey guys! Anyone else having problems with iPad 3, CocoonJS and C2?

    I'm getting a black screen showing only the FPS debug console, no matter what the project I'm exporting. I've tried the native resolution 2048 x 1536 with and without fullscreen set to scale and also 1024 x 768 with and without scaling with no luck. I'm using a personal license release 116 (64 bit).

    The CocoonJS log:

    <font size="2">Exception evaluating JavaScript: DOM Exception 8. Calling appendChild with null value.

    Not implemented createElement: screencanvas

    Evaluate Javascript from file c2runtime.js

    Updated screen size: 1024 768

    </font>

    This happens with every project of mine and also when using this FPS-test capx I found: construct.net/en

    The same projects work flawlessly with iPhone 4 and CocoonJS.

    Anyone got any ideas?

  • weird i have only tested it with ipad 2 my game and got also approved from the appstore.

    That would be a nightmare for my release too if its not working on ipad3

  • Are you sure you've got the latest version of the CocoonJS launcher? Ludei added screencanvas recently, but the error says it's missing.

  • Hmm. Now that you asked, it may be an older version on the iPad. I'll have to check that. Thank you for the quick reply!

  • Okay, I updated the CocoonJS app and now everything works like a charm.
