Text Not showing up

I was using Text to type the title of my game but it isnt showing up none of my Text do.

I am using Firefox 10 or whatever the newest is on Windows 7 64bit

I guess you just have to enlarge the size of the text object for it to appear (in the IDE and in the browser) as the second paragraph of the manual entry explains.

If that doesn't solve it, consider posting a capx.

EDIT: I didn't realized it was posted in the bugs section.

Anyway I guess it is this common mistake and surely not a bug.

no its a bug I adjusted the size and everything and it doesnt appear

Post your capx please. as instructed in how to report a bug.

it is in any projects. do you want me to just attach a capx with only text?

Yeah, it works for everyone else, so it would help us check if you did something that breaks it.

ok but after messing with it i think it is jsut a firefox problem. because it works in IE and other browsers but not firefox so someone should ivestigate that

I'm using Firefox 10 and text objects have always appeared, using system or web fonts.

And unless you post a capx so we can reproduce this on our computers, there is nothing to investigate.

Edit: come to think about it, do you try to display some special alphabet/characters in your text ? (like cyrillic, or another "symbols" alphabet like this in our european's eyes)

Shows perfectly fine for me.

Well the project "preview browser"'s property is set to Internet Explorer.

C2 will first try to display in IE.

If you want the preview to work in Firefox, set the preview browser proparty to "FireFox", or to "default" is firefox is your default browser.

Anyway, win7 pro here, displays fine in IE 9 and FF 10.

i changed it to IE because I was gonna just preview in IE but it wouldnt even open IE it only opens Firefox and I still dont see any text what should I do

Try uninstalling Firefox, download it again (stable version 10.0.1) and install it again.

Apparently it is a problem with this browser on your configuration.

Let us know if a reinstall of FF fixes it.

ok I tried and nothing still same problem. could t be asetting that i have enabled/disable or something

Appears just fine here. It works for everyone else so it must be an issue with Firefox on your end.
