[r89] Time's gone wonky ? (only on chrome)

Hi, there's a super weird bug on chrome.

Using the Every x seconds condition I get some pretty irregular results.

Also fps is way beyond 60 (shouldn't it be capped ?)

Anyway here's the buggy capx

That's the base of the snake game I put in the arcade showing how the movement works.

Maybe it's just me so here's my config:

Chrome: 18.0.1025.168 m

OS: Windows 2008 server r2

Graphic Card : Nvidia GeForce GTX 460 (the bug occurs with and without webGL though)

It happens on mine too, i believe it's a Chrome bug.

For workaround, just make a TEXT object outside of your layout,

and every tick set the text to tickcount

It's a known bug in Chrome 18. It's fixed for Chrome 19 already, so you'll just have to wait a couple of weeks or use the workaround Potato mentioned.

This is a relatively serious bug and I was a bit annoyed they managed to let this get in to the stable release of the browser, but they wouldn't update Chrome 18 after it had already been released.
