  • Me again....

    Ashley same CAPX a litte modified. Link will be in your mail within the next 10 min.

    So, whats happening:

    I have a layout that is rater static and ment to be an introduction. Size 800x600. From this layout the game switches to the first level . new layout with a size of 5000x5000. Fullscreen Mode is OFF and the margins on both are set to 800x600.

    When I preview the game layout allone, everything is working as it should. Player Sprite implement "Scroll-To" and also each tick is setting the cam to this sprite.

    Now, when the player switches from the introduction to the game level, the system does NOT scroll to the player....

    Is this a know bug? is there a work around?

  • It is almost impossible to debug large projects. Please reproduce the issue in a new project otherwise it's extremely difficult to tell if the problem is in the behavior or in your events.

    In this case I would presume the problem is in your events. If you use any of the system scroll actions, this will override the Scroll To behavior, so check what actions you're using.

    FYI margins only affect the layout view in the editor, they have no effect during preview.

  • strange.....right now I am unable to recreate this in a new project....which certainly would only use a small fraction of all animation and rotation

    <img src="smileys/smiley11.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

    I guess its just my strange programming <img src="smileys/smiley19.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

    I'll keep quite until I have a bug in a small project....sorry for any inconveniece I have coused.

  • i had the same problem I fixed it by deleting the player sprite from layout and inserting it again
