Open C2, new project, click the event sheet tab, right click and insert a global variable. C2 freezes.

Vista, 32 bit AMD athlon 4400+, Nvidia 9800gt.

After a restart it's working again here too. I guess it's a non-issue then.

I can't see anything obvious in the code where a hang could happen while bringing up that dialog. Has it happened again recently or in r65?

I think it was in 63, as I made the post after it happened the third time, and 63 was the latest version at that point. It hasn't happened since, perhaps it's been fixed.

I have the same bug. 4 times today, Constructor crashed when inserting "Set variable" with global variable. 1 time it crashed also when inserting "set variable" with local variable.

You're still using the bugged R66 build. R67 has been released which (hopefully) resolves your problem.
