Problem Description

Construct 2 crashes when making a selection rectangle

Steps to Reproduce Bug
- Open a project
- Do something else
- Go to a layout and make a selection rectangle
- CRASH!!!
Observed Result

Construct 2 has stopped working

Expected Result

It shouldn't crashes

Operating System and Service Pack

It doesn't crash for me using r174 64 bit.

Your instructions could possibly do with including more detail, i.e. what does the step 'Do something else' actually entail?

Does this happen with every project?

Only on my latest project, but I've found a solution to avoid the bug:

-Create a temporary project

-Create a sprite

-Close the project without saving

-Open my project

-TA-DA! No more crashes.

Closing, please follow the bug report guidelines. "Do something else" is not a step we can do to precisely follow what you are doing, and you did not attach a .capx.
