Casino? money? who knows? but the target is the same!
  • Problem Description

    Display an error message on startup.

    ---------------------------

    Construct 2 Check failure

    ---------------------------

    Check failure! This is probably a bug:

    ACE table warning: trailing parameters left over, are they meant to be there?

    Condition: params.empty()

    File: c:\c2\source\exporters\html5\..\..\common\ERAHelpers.h

    Line: 312

    Function: void __cdecl era::ACETable::Done(void)

    Build: release 164 (64-bit) checked

    Component: HTML5 exporter

    (Last Win32 error: 0)

    You are using a 'checked' release of Construct 2, intended for testing, which causes certain errors to be reported this way. Hit Ctrl+C to copy this messagebox - it's useful information for the developers, so please include it with any bug reports! Click 'Abort' to quit (unsaved data will be lost!),'Retry' to turn off messages for this session and continue, or 'Ignore' to continue normally.

    When I clicked on retry button, Construct 2 will open. This does not happen on R163.

    Expected Result

    Construct 2 open normally

  • I have the same error with Construct 2 R164 personal Steam at startup on Win7x64SP1 with all updates (all drivers also up to date).

  • Try Construct 3

    Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

    Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • The same, too. So I roll back to r163 now.

  • Can't reproduce, works fine here. Looks very much like a problem with a buggy third party plugin.
