I'm not even previewing the shader.

What will happen: If I select Oil in the effects my computer will crash.

Doesn't do this with any other effect. No error message besides that my drivers have all failed.

Chrome.

Toshiba C655 Satelite, Win 7.

This is most likely a graphics driver bug. Are your drivers up to date?

Yes they are up to date.

It is not a .capx error, if I select it from the drop down it just explodes.

Perhaps you can turn off shader preview somewhere?
