    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION

    A couple of weeks ago, most of the devices with android 6.0 or 8.0 reported crashes, black screen, force close, crashes, etc.

    As it is a big project, there is no way. You just have to test it, because this is not only happening with me, but with a good part of a community of 5 thousand people who use C2.

    TUTORIAL

    I am using the configuration according to the image, and the problem continues to persist, being that the capx is ok, before nothing happened in this way, the apk was normal. Even disabling webgl the problems persisted. Check out the image I was editing for a better look. Remember that Minify Script does not work for more than 2 months. After compiling apk with it enabled, apk does not work.

    EXPECTED RESULT

    No crash, no black screen.

    AFFECTED BROWSERS

    No.

    OPERATING SYSTEM AND SERVICE PACK

    Windows 10 pro X64, 1803.

    Compile the apk by Cocoon Version 2.2.0, in WebView.

    Test Moto X 2 Play, android 8.0.

    CONSTRUCT 2 VERSION ID

    I use the C2 Steam Release 259 x64 version.

  • I'm afraid there's very little we can do about a report like this. We require a project and steps to reproduce with bug reports because we need them to actually investigate the problem.

    Generally issues with force close suggest a crash in native code, not Construct's code, and the fact it relates to WebGL would suggest it's a GPU driver bug. There's very little we can do about that either; the GPU vendor would need to fix the driver.

    I'm compiling a developer app and installs it on my android device, but the app will not open. A message appears saying "APPNAME has stopped working".

    I already tried to change the version of the construct, but the error is the same.

    I tested the versions: R260, R259, R255, R252.

    This happens in all my applications. I tested it in 5 different applications.

    I want to update them in google play, 1 week ago it was okay, now none works.

    Execution on Android phone
