Help - Can't open my capx file anymore

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open capx file

Observed result:

It fails to open the file. It says error reading end tag, line 31, column 34. I had been working on it, ran perfectly fine, saved, closed the file and now it won't open anymore. My latest backup is too old to go back to it.

Expected result:

Open the file :)

Browsers affected:

Also, didn't use any 3rd party plugins.

Here I fixed up that xml tag: Fresen.capx

You should set up C2 to make regular backups if you haven't already.

ramones: I'm curious - How did you fix that? Being a single file I couldn't figure out a way of editing the problem XML file, but also being a compiled capx I couldn't open it in notepad (unlike a .caproj).

boolean: capx are zip archive. Extract it to an archive and you get access to its inner files.

Then zip the edited folder and rename it to capx.

I'm afraid we can't fix bugs like this. It's impossible to tell from a corrupt project what caused it to go wrong. We need steps to reproduce the problem from a working project to have a chance at fixing it. Closing - please provide more info if you can!
