I downloaded the free version of Construct, created a new project, but then decided to open an example project. I opened up Ghost with lasers, clicking the green play button to Run Layout, and watched the game come up. I was able to control the character and shoot lasers, but the responsiveness of the game was quite a turnoff. When I died, a message was displaced to hit the space bar to "try and beat my score," but rather than restarting the game, it appears to cause a new "instance" of the audio track to get created. An agonizing loop of spooky audio cycles over and over again until I close the tab.
Many errors show up in the Error Console, not necessarily in this order:
Warning: The 'charCode' property of a keydown event should not be used. The value is meaningless.

AND then my browser crashed. Luckily Firefox saved my work for writing this forum post.
I also tried "Custom movement (asteroids)", but hitting the space bar did nothing at all after being presented with the opening screen in my browser.
