  • Hi all!

After buying a personal license Construct 2 in Steam, with the opening of the second engine, the whole style of the event sheet and layout changing in orange color. Tried to delete and re-download engine with Steam, but to no avail.

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Run Construct 2 in Steam

    Observed result:

    f4.s.qip.ru/TWijNPE6.png

    f4.s.qip.ru/TWijNPE7.png

    Expected result:

Normal color event sheet ang layout in Construct 2

    Browsers affected:

    Chrome: yes/no

    Firefox: yes/no

    Internet Explorer: yes/no

    Operating system & service pack:

    Windows 8 32-bit

    Construct 2 version:

    R132

  • Did you have a custom theme set? What does "second engine" mean?

  • Try Construct 3

  • This just happened to me too.

    I have both r132 and r136 installed.

In r136, all the colors are normal.

However after I installed r136, in r132 all the white background colors of Events and Layout background turned Orange as well.

Reloading the default theme fixes this, but it's still annoying.

  • I can't reproduce this, and there's code in r135+ to explicitly reset the theme to default the first time you open it since the theme system changed and is not backwards compatible. So I don't understand how this could happen. Can anyone provide more information about the problem, such as how to reproduce it? Are you using a custom theme? What settings have you chosen?

Sorry for my English. I am from Russia.

Ashley, I changed the color in Preferences -> Colors -> Choose a colors on white and everything was fine. Tried to delete all local files and download Construct 2 in Steam. Now everything is still fine. Strangely ?_O
