I use the free version of C2. However the newer versions crash at startup.

I tried to install older versions found at and I found that the last release that works on my PC is 168. All newer versions crash at startup when I click on C2 icon.

I have a

AMD Athlon XP 2600+

512 MB RAM

RADEON 7000 series video card with 32 MB

Any solution?

Are your graphics drivers up to date? Either way your hardware sounds very old indeed, the Athlon XP was released in 1999, right? Perhaps it is no longer supported...

The last update of the RADEON 7000 video card driver was released on December 30 2006 and is the one installed on my PC.

I'm amazed any software runs on a system that old. I don't think we can support such an old system I'm afraid.
