I have 2 animations inputed for a sprite. I add a third and try to open a new .png file to add for the first frame of animation and the entire program crashes. Sometimes I get the error code: The instruction at "0x7c936dab" referenced memory at "0xb8d88b01". The memory could not be "read"

Can you provide the .capx file? (Save as single file) The .caproj is just a list of other files in a folder project, we can't open it on its own.
i just tried to do that and it crashed. lol.

Are you using the latest release (r65)? That fixed a common crash on save.
