How do I spawn more objects on a grid?

Hello to all

i have a very simply question for who have patience to answer

i have a grid 32x32 pixels, with 5 columns and 5 rows

i need to spawn 10 or "variable" instances of a objects in random position

the problems is that i cannot say to C2 how to "check if a position x,y the objects already exists"

(in this screenshot is clear that the trees in red circle are in the same position)
