How do I make a simple shape puzzle

Hi,

I want to make a simple puzzle game but i have a trouble with that.

In my game, i have two groups of objects. The first group object contains pieces of the second group object, then i want to random that on the game. but i want if second group show the square, then the other group is showing pieces of square. just like jigsaw puzzle, but in simple way. how to make it works?

You can introduce global variable. Like type_of_jigsaw.

Make it random.

If type_of_jigsaw = 1 then

first object displays squares

and second obect displays squares

else...

and so on.
