How do I position a object to a new grid setting?

Whenever I change a grid size, most of my objects are un-aligned to the new grid setting.

Is there any quick fix to this apart from removing the object and placing it again?

(I can't upload a image ATM due to me using a school computer and they essentially blocked imgur and any other means of uploading an image.)

That would be easy if you increase or decrease the grid size half or twice from previous value. And consider different image size will likely to misaligned sprites.
