How do I make a game similar to pokemon?

When I say the game, I mean the effects, the movement, how to set everything up, etc. without using the exact game graphics and such. Also would like to know how to make it multiplayer.

Please consider trying the Platform tutorial from Ashley, as well as his Multiplayer tutorial. After that, you should have a much greater understanding of C2, which will enable you to be more specific in your request for help.
