How do I create a condition having a sprite overlap a color?

Hello, I'm new to Construct 2, and I can't figure out how collisions work in the event sheet. All I can find is collisions involving sprites, but I can't find anything about collision involving colors, so I'm wondering if there's a way to create a condition that involves collision with a certain color.

How would colours exist if they are not part of the sprite image ?

Well, here's what I'm trying to do: I'm trying to have a sprite overlap another sprite of a certain color, and I only want the effect to take place when the other sprite is a certain color, but I have no idea how to do that.

Here is one way. It really does depend on what exactly you want to achieve as to how you go about it. Thats why i suggest you check various demos and get used to how C2 works.
