This would be an awesome plugin. I'm to busy right now to tackle it myself, anyone else up to the challenge?

a game that has an interactive planet?

I haven't looked into the documentation too closely but I bet you could make:

• a game that with earthquakes
• a risk type game where you try to take over the world
• a global thermalnuclear war missile game
• etc etc etc

I immediatly thought of X-Com or any game that would be global and position based on a glob. While you could use a standard flat map I think this script would be an interesting edge.
