  • Hello!

<center>So I've noticed that some people don't know how to install plugins and behaviors, so I've created a program to do it for you! It's simple and easy to use :D You can select a plugin/behavior from the list OR select a plugin/behavior zip file to install. (Advised to do the first method.) The program doesn't need updating every time a new plugin/behavior is added so PLEASE! If you have created a plugin/behavior, tell me and I'll add it!</center>

Hope you like? You can also request features to be added to it.

Oh and the fonts might not work on your computer (Could be reset to Arial) so don't get down about that! Only for PC.

Didn't know where to put this so move if you must!

I can't currently post links so REP please :D

  • I had made a similar one before.

  • Yeah I saw yours and it looks epic! :D

But the thing is for you, anyone can upload their plugin/behavior to your FTP server D:

Mine is a bit more structured around getting the BEST plugins to the clients, keeping it simple.

It provides the name of the plugin (Can be anything, doesn't matter about file name), a description and then the download URL.

    Config file is structured:

    <font face="Courier New, Courier, mono">

    NAME:[Plugin Name]

    DESC:[PLUGIN DESCRIPTION!]

URL: Download URL, has to be direct.</font>

This way, I can provide details for the clients whom are not sure what the plugins do. I would, however, love to form a partnership with you so that the plugin/behavior list is much longer than current!

It need a lot of effort to maintain the plugins list manually. Good luck!

  • that's why I gave up mine!

  • Perhaps I could create a PHP script that the plugin developer would upload and submit their plugin through? This way, more detail can be added about the plugin.

I'm currently mixed up with creating a new Operating System (Nothing special) so updates won't come too regularly. I have a few updates to be applied to this repo which can only take place manually (Reinstalling the program).

This way, it'll be automated and will require next to no manual work.

As I have said before, I'll be glad if anyone wishes to join repos with me as it'll boost the plugin/behavior list giving more option to the user.

(The combobox will eventually be replaced with a listbox)

I will also be uploading the source code to this at a later date as I can get too busy myself to update it accordingly.

  • Tom worked on a native integration of a repository directly on the Scirra's website, but I don't know how it's progressing...

  • It will be great if have a tool to manage all plugins/behabiors/effects/sample capx files, and a user wiki for these things.

Again, these need a lot of effort. My plugin wiki is created by program, so it might be a better way to generate description by parsing edittime.js file, to reduce effort.
