After the update, my files no longer open. Even the backups. A project has been in development for months. Having to start over will drive me crazy. Please help me. Even the backups don't want to open. I've already cleared cache, etc. This problem doesn't appear in many tutorials. Team construct, email contacts, when sent, return that the email does not exist. Please try to contact me. I really want to find a solution. My plan B for a career change is to make these projects work. I spent months studying the app, then months to build something beautiful, and then lose everything like that. It's making me very sad.
Do be so tragic, man! You can just stay on the older version of C3 until the issue is resolved. You can specifiy the version in the link, so for example if you wanna use previous stable release, add "r388-2" to the end of the link, so it will look like this: editor.construct.net/r388-2

Você acha que eu não testei os backups? Você acha que eu não fiz tudo isso? Se você não é do suporte e não tem uma dica útil, então vaza. Amigo, você está um pouco nervoso, por favor se acalme. Eu abri o projeto no qual estou trabalhando nessa nova versão e não tive nenhum problema, pra ser sincero, acho MUITO difícil o site ter corrompido seus arquivos pessoais, até onde sei, o site faz uma cópia do arquivo para si e trabalha em cima dessa cópia e só quando você salva o projeto ele baixa o arquivo atualizado e substitui o seu. Você chegou a abrir e salvar o projeto? Se você usa o Google Drive para salvar os projetos, ele disponibiliza até 100 versões anteriores do arquivo, você pode baixar uma verão mais antiga, quando o projeto ainda funcionava. Se você sequer conseguiu abrir o arquivo na nova versão, é muito possível que seja algo com o navegador, tente abrir o site em uma aba anônima, ou teste um navegador diferente. Espero que você consiga resolver.
Well, you said you had backups. If you broke backups too then of course it wont work.
I got my projects broken like 10+ times at this point (4 years of using C3) and I fixed them all myself. Tools like Github can help, because you can specifically see what was changed. Consider using it in future. Or at least clone your backups before trying them, so you wont break them too. And you can use tools like WinDiff to compare backup and the project to see the changes too.
So yes, that's why I'm saying that you too tragic, because you can always fix your projects even without asking the devs, even if you dont have backups. Often times you can figure out whats wrong just from the errors, though its harder
1 turn the 3cp file into zip
2 rename the file "project.c3proj" to "project.c3proj.text"
3 open the file with notepad
4 change the release version:39700 to the old version you used
5 save the file with the original name "project.c3proj" place it inside the zip folder
6 transform the project into 3cp and that's it
If there's a problem with this release, you can find older releases on the releases page and keep using an older version for the time being (and ideally report the problem to us by filing an issue or sending your project to support@construct.net). If the project does not open in older realeases, it's probably been somehow corrupted - you can still send your project to supportytk@construct.net and we can try to recover it, but sometimes corrupt projects are entirely unrecoverable, so we can't guarantee anything.
