currently im making a action/adventure type game and when you kill a monster it leaves a soul and i want that sould to float over to the soul counter but for somereason whenever the monsters die the spawn tons of souls and then they just sit there for one and for the other mosnter the all fly of the screen in a line d:( i dont really understand what im doing wrong lol
Actually by reading from these info i suppose that you should let the monster spawn 1 soul, when your char walks inside the soul, when it goes on collision i mean, the counter get istant +1 the soul spawn another soul (a completely different sprite which has no counter) the First soul get destroyed, the second soul move to the counter and on collision get destroyed Nothing more.
If it is automatical with no need to walk trhough the soul you may shoul the monster drop the first soul, make a countdown of 2 seconds and then continue identically after i wrote "when your char walks on collision with the first soul"..
