I tried my best but I can only crash into the fuel at 248 velocity with zero fuel left. Is the game FPS locked or is it framerate independent with proper delta-time code and all that?
I could reupload with an FPS if you like. :)
No that's fine. I was just wondering if your code does not scale proper at higher Hz monitors if you skipped the delta-time stuff. Then I can see the fuel to run out maybe way too fast.

After 100+ straight down crashes I don't think I will able to post any scores. ;P
Maybe 10 lander fuel at start would help. I'm surprised you can even land on the platform, haha.
I just tried it on my 2nd monitor which is 60Hz instead of 175Hz, and my velocity is much lower. So I suspect you might have skipped on delta-time code?

You cannot land on the fuel and you have to get the right amount of thrust just to overlap the fuel can without using the sparse fuel you start with. I get it wrong myself 3-5 times before I get the fuel, even as I have tried it a hundred times now.
Then comes the skill to get to the platform. It is a TIGHT game. ;-)
