And so far, Scirra has not kept its promise to release the Mac version.
Construct works on Mac in Chrome, Firefox and Safari.
And pretty well, I must add. I've taught game development with Construct in a computer lab comprised of Mac OS, Windows and Linux desktops. Everything worked like a charm, thanks to the cross-compatibility of web technologies.
