Hey, haven't logged in for a long time. I couldn't afford the yearly payment but it's great to read here that monthly payments are now possible!
I still use c2 only because of yearly subscription being not appealing, and also fears of "always online" and telemetry, but I do see that we can be offline most of the week which is neat.
How is telemetry with construct 3, Ashley ? I only lurk but I see that you once mentioned usage data of construct 3, like how many events people use and stuff; does c3 collect info whilst I'm offline then send it all once I'm online? Can I opt out?
Also, with construct 2, what happens if we have personal c2 licence and earn £5k, what do we do?
If you exceed the threshold with Construct 2 personal edition, you can buy 1 year of Construct 3 at the appropriate level (Startup or Business) and that will then cover your Construct 2 usage forever from that point.
We only collect anonymous data and all information is handled in accordance with our privacy policy. The main reason we have it is to improve the quality of the product, in particular looking for any frequent crashes that have not been otherwise reported and trying to fix them if we can, helping improve the overall reliability of Construct 3. If you use tracking/ad blocking browser extensions or features that block Google Analytics, it will also block it for Construct 3, and consequently we will not collect any telemetry data from you.
Here comes my problem too >> Privacy << I don't want nobody to be collecting my personal game data works.
